2.2.6 Faith Powers (Techs)
These will use events to trigger a number of effects, from giving extra units, to spreading alliances to creating buildings. They will be sorted by faction, first all the race dependant ones, then all the alliance dependant ones. If it is both race and alliance dependant it will be sorted into race dependant, and then a subcategory for alliance.

Imperium of Man
Venerate the God-Emperor
Gains one shrine of the God Emperor on a planet. A shrine of the God Emperor gives new units created on the planet a free 'faithful' promotion and gives +1 happiness. Repeatable.
Righteous Joy
+1 happiness in all cities. Repeatable.
Cleanse and Purge
+1 Health in all cities. Repeatable.
Chaos
Blood will run
Khornate. Creates 3 bloodletter units in one of the player's cities. Additionally, this planet gains the 'Blood Pond' building, and allows creation of the Blood Pond building.
Pleasures of the flesh
Slaanshii. +1 happiness in all cities. Repeatable.
Make no little plans
Tzeentch. Causes anarchy in a number of enemy cities.
Down with the Sickness
Nurgle. Creates a pestilent crop building (+4 food, +1 sickness) in one of the player’s cities. Allows creation of pestilent crops.

Blood Pond
UB for Chaos (Khorne)
Allows creation of bloodletters
-1 health
+1 happiness for Khornate leaders
Gives the bloodlust promotion to new units
Pestilent Crop
UB for Chaos (Nurgle)
+4 food
+1 Sickness
+2 sickness for non chaos players.
If you're going with a more tongue-in-cheek approach here, might I suggest "There will be blood" for Khorne, with maybe some Rocky Horror stuff for Slaanesh? Oh, and as a proud Chicagofag, thumbs up for the Burnham quote.
ReplyDeleteExpect each of the chaos gods to have more then one power. Pre-reqs will work so that you need powers of that chaos god OR a much higher up power of chaos undivided to get any given prayer. So if the player wants to go all khorne, he gets access to stronger powers sooner. If not, he can get the pre-reqs by going up the chaos undivided branch, and then taking the different rituals as he chooses.
